COUNSELLING

As stated I feel I have an eclectic approach to dealing with individuals and the difficulties they experience and this is seen in my approach to counselling.

I do not subscribe to any specific school of counselling.

Some individuals and difficulties respond to one type of approach i.e.. Person centered Egan 3 stage model, and another will respond to the Cognitive Behavioral approach.

I feel that the therapy should suit the person rather than the person fit into the therapists view of the world and how difficulties arise.

The range of types of therapy studied include the following schools:

Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral and,  Grief loss and bereavement
